FAQS
Academic structure and study experience
How does the learning methodology work?
The Master’s programme combines weekly live sessions, recorded classes, independent study, and interaction with faculty members and an international group of participants.
Are the live sessions recorded?
Yes. All live sessions are recorded and made available on the virtual campus for later review.
How much time should I dedicate to the programme?
As a 60 ECTS postgraduate programme, the Master’s requires consistent dedication throughout the academic year. It is designed to be compatible with professional activity, but it requires commitment and continuity.
Is attendance mandatory?
Yes. Participants are expected to attend at least 80% of the programme activities.
What happens if I know in advance that I will not be able to attend a session?
If you anticipate difficulties attending a session or following part of a module, you must inform the coordination team in advance. Depending on the case, additional academic work may be assigned to help you meet the module requirements.
What happens if I fail a module?
If you do not pass a module, you will be able to repeat only that module in a future edition, paying only the amount corresponding to that module, rather than the full Master’s tuition fee.
Can I change track during the programme?
Yes, in some cases. Track changes may be possible, but they require prior approval from the Academic Direction / Teaching Direction.
Can I complete the Master’s programme over two academic years?
Yes. The programme has a modular structure, so in some cases it may be completed over two academic years instead of one, subject to academic planning and prior approval.
Admissions
What are the admission requirements?
As a general rule, candidates are expected to hold a university degree, have a profile related to the healthcare or transplantation field, and possess a sufficient level of English to follow a programme taught entirely in that language.
Do I need to be a transplant specialist to apply for admission?
No. The programme is also designed for professionals who wish to enter this field or strengthen their role in coordination, leadership, teaching, or healthcare system development.
Can candidates with non-medical profiles apply for admission?
Yes, depending on their profile. Applications are assessed individually, and profiles related to healthcare management, public health, research, ethics, or health policy may also be considered.
Can I apply for admission if I do not have a university degree?
Potentially, yes. Your professional profile and experience may be assessed individually.
What qualification will I receive if I do not have a university degree?
If you are admitted without holding the university degree normally required for access, you may complete the programme as a non-degree participant. In that case, you would not receive the university Master’s degree, but rather the corresponding credential for the non-degree pathway.
How is my application assessed?
Each application is reviewed individually, taking into account academic background, professional experience, motivation, and the overall suitability of the profile for the programme.
Fees and payment
What is the tuition fee?
The tuition fee for the current edition is EUR 8,500.
Can payment be made in instalments?
Yes. In many cases, payment can be split into 2 or 3 instalments.
